Our February gathering was a powerful and heart-opening exploration of what it truly means to live a mastered life.
After grounding together in a beautiful opening meditation—connecting earth and cosmos, heart and community—we welcomed Reverend Dr. Raymont Anderson, who invited us into a dynamic conversation about life mastery. Drawing from the Japanese concept of Shu-Ha-Ri—learn the rules, break the rules,
transcend the rules—Raymont challenged us to look beyond simply practicing spiritual principles and instead embody them.

Through humor, honesty, and deep insight, we explored questions that linger long after the event ended:
- What does mastery really mean?
- Are we willing to release guilt, shame, and old limitations?
- Can every moment—even irritation, conflict, or discomfort—become spiritual practice?
Participants reflected on daily habits, personal triggers, and the power of conscious choice. Together, we experienced a moving heart-centered exercise that expanded compassion beyond the room and out into the world. The takeaway was both simple and profound: self-awareness leads to self-mastery, and mastery is not about perfection—it’s about choosing love, presence, and peace again and again.
It was one of those gatherings that leaves you lighter, clearer, and more connected. Our
musicians contributed to this clarity as well, engaging us in using our bodies as rhythm instruments! We are the music!
If you’ve been curious about ACT, this is what we do. We create sacred space for real conversations, transformative insight, and practical spirituality you can live. We would love to have you join us at an upcoming event as we continue celebrating 25 years—and consciously calling in the next 25.
Come experience it for yourself.
