During this unprecedented time of the Corona virus pandemic ACT is suspending all in-person co-sponsored events.  We are looking at and for ways we can share the talents and creativity of our community with everyone going forward through these “new times” we are in! We have the tools and technology; let’s use them.

Here are the current offerings for and by your community:

Monday

Qigong with Richard Bredeson, 9:00 a.m.

Richard is leading a Qigong practice every Monday morning during our quarantine time as a great way to start the week. He sends out the Zoom link by email. To get on the list visit his website for details and to sign up. These practice sessions are FREE. If you can’t make it Monday mornings, these sessions are repeated on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Reiki Shares in September on Mondays at 7 pm

Announcing Weekly Reiki Shares on Zoom!!!  Free and open to all.

Join Reiki Masters Caroline Karditzas, Oriana Rayhart, and friends from the Reiki Community, on Mondays in September at 7 pm.

ACT is delighted to continue co-sponsoring the Reiki Shares that have been powerfully held and lead by Donna Jeanne Walter for the last few years.  It is with gratitude that we acknowledge the many hours of selfless service she has given.  In passing the baton to Caroline and Oriana, Donna Jeanne has given her blessing to the continuation of this healing service.

Read on for what you need to know about the process that is being used.

Caroline and Oriana bring to these Reiki shares the concept of “Ohana”.  They describe “Ohana” as the Hawaiian concept of universal family.

“Ohana means family. Nobody gets left behind.” – Lilo & Stitch

These Reiki sessions are open to everyone, no matter race, gender, creed, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status or political alignment. Please reach out to those in our communities that you may feel would benefit from our sessions and invite them in. “Our diversity is our strength.” All are welcome! 

Caroline and Ori would also like those participating in the Reiki shares to know the following:

“We will be offering a 35 to 40 minute session. Introductions will be brief and meditation will be extended to between 10-20 minutes so that folks really have time to sink in and prepare. After meditation, we will begin the 15-20 minute Reiki share. Give and/or receive. You will be guided both, in and out. Time will always be left at the end for clearing and grounding.”

Caroline and Ori say “The beauty of doing distance Reiki/Healing Arts on Zoom is that no one needs to get left behind. It’s the ultimate distancing practice. Folks who are suffering through Covid or chronic illness can dial in safely and truly rest knowing that their immune systems will be cared for but not compromised. For givers and receivers alike, we can join in community with the purest of intentions to hold each other up in the Light.”

A Course in Miracles at 7:00 pm

“I would like to invite anyone who is interested to join us for ACIM discussion every Monday evening 7-8:30 on Zoom.  As a group we have been reading and discussing ACIM since last July.  If you want to jump right in and join us you are most welcome.

Beginning September 24 and then for two additional Thursdays, 5:45 to 7:45 PM. Note the teaching classes are September 24, October 8 and October 22. On alternating Thursdays, October 1, 15 and 29 there will be an optional hour from 5:45 to 6:45 PM for sharing and questions.
