Music offered by Abbie Palmer
Abbie Palmer is a multi-genre electric harpist and singer-songwriter. With roots in World music, Conservatory Classical training, and a contemporary writing style, Abbie brings an eclectic and eccentric flavor to any stage or listener. She is most known for her unique percussive style of playing on the harp as well as her singing voice that is unmistakable. Her original music offers an interesting fusion of various genres; she has been writing/recording/
performing her original music for over 15 years. Abbie also specializes in meditation music based on her board certification in music therapy. She has had the pleasure of playing with some of DC’s most highly esteemed musicians, spanning a range of genres and continents of origins, namely traditional Celtic, Hip-Hop, traditional African, New Age, Jazz, and Pop/Rock.
Refreshments will be served along with time to interact with the practitioners and the ACT community.
Why attend? We all have questions. What is my purpose? How can I heal my body? What can I do to feel better about myself? Perhaps, with the presentations, you will find answers, solutions, and/or support that would be perfect for you.
The event is sponsored by ACT (A Community of Transformation).
Our Vision is to serve as an inspirational, heart-centered community that nurtures profound transformation. We meet the second Sunday of each month to hear speakers and attend programs that inspire and uplift.
