September’s ACT gathering was a joyful and energizing invitation to consider what it really means to live a transformational life. Our presenter, Francie Boyce, drew on decades of spiritual practice, teaching, and energy work to offer simple ways we can shift our thoughts, relationships, and everyday experiences.
Francie reminded us that our thoughts and beliefs can become the “script” we live by—and that becoming more conscious of that script gives us an opportunity to choose something new.
The session was highly experiential, with everyone invited to participate in exercises designed to release stressful thoughts, strengthen feelings of safety and support, and create greater connection with others.
Francie introduced practices such as the “blowout” for letting go of difficult thoughts, “zipping up” with affirmations, and figure eights as a way of getting in sync. Participants described feeling lighter, calmer, and experiencing an energy shift. Underneath the exercises was a larger message: transformation can begin with very small choices about how we show up, what we believe, and how we relate to one another.
Adding to the spirit of the gathering was the extraordinary musical artist Word, whose music and poetry opened the session with an invitation to welcome one another, connect, and bring our full selves into the space. His artistry beautifully complemented Francie’s message about connection, love, authenticity, and transformation.
The September session was a wonderful example of what makes A Community of Transformation (ACT) so special: meaningful ideas, practical experiences, inspiring presenters, creativity, and—most importantly—a community where people can learn, grow, and support one another. If you’ve been wondering what ACT is all about, this is a great time to join us and experience it for yourself.
